Actress Lee Da In talked about introducing her first drama “My Dearest” after her marriage with actor Lee Seung Gi.
On August 4th, the press conference for MBC’s new Fri-Sat drama “My Dearest” (written by Hwang Jin Young/ directed by Kim Sung Yong & Cheon Soo Jin) was held at Sangam MBC Golden Mouse Hall in Mapo-gu, Seoul. Actors Nam Goong Min, Ahn Eun Jin, Lee Hak Joo, Lee Da In, Kim Yoon Woo and director Kim Sung Young attended the event.
Expressing her feelings about working on “My Dearest” as her first comeback drama after marrying Lee Seung Gi, Lee Da In shared, “There’s always a pressure every time I do a new work, but with ‘My Dearest’, I felt more burdened and nervous than ever before because it’s my first comeback in three years and first project after marriage”. She added, “All the actors created a pleasant atmosphere and that’s why I was able to act more comfortably”.
“My Dearest” is a human historical melodrama that revolves around the love of people during the Qing invasion of Joseon and their vitality. Nam Goong Min (as Lee Jang Hyun) and Ahn Eun Jin (as Yoo Gil Chae) will portray the sad love of those who cannot even stop the war.
In addition, the combination of Lee Hak Joo (as Nam Yeon Joon), Lee Da In (as Kyung Eun Ae) and Kim Yoon Woo (as Ryang Eum) is also raising viewers’ anticipation.
“My Dearest” was jointly created by “The King’s Daughter, Soo Baek Hyang” & “The Rebel” writer Hwang Jin Young and “The Veil” director Kim Sung Young.
The first episode will air on August 4th.
