Singer and actress IU was surprised by the fans’ explosive chanting.
The last concert night of “2024 IU H.E.R. World Tour Concert” at KSPO DOME in Songpa-gu, Seoul was held at 5 p.m. on March 10th (KST).
This is IU’s first concert in a year and a half since the 2022 concert “The Golden Hour: Under the Orange Sun,” which made IU the first solo artist to hold a concert at the Olympic main stadium. Previously, “2024 IU H.E.R. World Tour Concert” in Seoul drew keen attention as it sold out all four nights.
IU opened the concert with “Holssi” and “Jam Jam,” saying, “I thought you guys would be tired today because the cheers yesterday were so great, but the last concert night is indeed the last concert night.” She then elevated the mood of the first part of the concert with “Ah Puh,” “BBIBBI” and “Obliviate.”
The first song of the second part was “Celebrity.” “I have a favor to ask you all. Please put down the camera and make eye contact with me for this performance,” IU said before her performance of “Blueming.” Fans sang along to IU while putting down the camera for a while.
After the performance, IU said, “You did a great job with “Blueming” today. From the middle of the stage, I can hear the cheers through my ears, and the sound comes into my in-ear.”
“Sometimes my ears are paralyzed for a moment. There were really few audiences holding cell phones today. Thank you for doing my favor. As expected, you guys are an audience of manners,” she said.
