One part was difficult to pronounce!
NCT DREAM released their fifth mini album, DREAM( )SCAPE, on March 25, 2024, including the title track “Smoothie.”
Now, NCT DREAM released a behind-the-scenes video of the members’ recording process of “Smoothie.” Renjun was the first member to record, and his unfiltered vocals sounded amazing.
Yet, one part proved especially hard even for him. Renjun attempted the line, “Chew a bit and swallow it, smoothie,” but it wasn’t easy to pronounce. He confessed, “It’s tough,” before crying, “Let me try again.”

Renjun practiced this tricky tongue twister for a moment, and he soon aced it! He did so well throughout his recording, proving his true talent and professionalism.
Renjun did so well in the recording he was praised for his good vocal cuts. He’s so talented & hardworking striving for the perfect cut each time. Even though smoothie has a difficult tongue twister in that specific part he still managed to ace it especially in the vocal department. Such a great vocalist. We’re proud of you Renjun
