Fans noticed that only Jisoo’s signature was missing from the mirrors featuring the members’ names and autographs at BLACKPINK’s pop-up store, sparking curiosity
BLACKPINK’s pop-up store “BORN PINK Pop-Up Experience in Seoul” is being opened from Sep 14th to Sep 17th near Hongdae, Seogyo-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, attracting the attention of fans worldwide.
A special event was held on Sep 14th before the official opening, attended by graphic artist Verdy, officials from YG Entertainment (BLACKPINK’s agency) and personnel from YG Plus, the entertainment infrastructure and IP business specialized company that planned the pop-up store.
During the event, attendees had the opportunity to explore the capsule collection created through BLACKPINK’s collaboration with Verdy and experience photo zones and photo booths. However, it was the four mirrors on one side of the second floor that drew attention. Each mirror featured the names and signatures of members Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa. Surprisingly, Jisoo’s mirror did not have her autograph, leaving fans puzzled.
Currently, BLACKPINK members’ contract renewals have been the subject of various speculations. With BLACKPINK celebrating their 7th debut anniversary last month and their upcoming world tour finale concert this weekend, interest in their future activities is at its peak.
The absence of Jisoo’s signature on the mirror has become a point of curiosity for fans amid these discussions.
Regarding this matter, a representative from YG Plus told Xports News, “During the overseas pop-up event, BLACKPINK members unexpectedly visited the site to sign autographs. At that time, Jisoo couldn’t join for scheduling reasons.“
The representative added, “At that time, the members didn’t announce their visit schedule in advance. It was a surprise event. This time as well, whether the members will officially announce their visit or not remains uncertain. There might be a surprise event.”
