List of 5 "golden foods" that effectively prevent Alzheimer's disease

The following five foods are both easy to find and rich in nutrients, helping you improve brain function and prevent Alzheimer's disease very effectively.

1. Berries

Berries such as blueberries, cranberries, raspberries, gooseberries... are rich in antioxidants, helping to protect the brain from the harmful effects of free radicals and prevent inflammation. Many studies have shown that regular consumption of berries helps enhance brain function and prevent degenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's, multiple sclerosis and Parkinson's.

2. Green leafy vegetables

Green leafy vegetables not only help increase resistance but also improve brain health, help keep the mind clear, prevent cognitive decline and reduce the risk of Alzheimer's disease.

Vegetables such as spinach, lettuce, kale are the best choice to fight brain degeneration because they contain high levels of nutrients such as folate, flavonoids, vitamin E and carotenoids. So do not forget to add green vegetables to your daily diet.

3. Nuts

Instead of choosing processed foods such as candy, cakes, fried potatoes, choosing nuts rich in vitamin E such as almonds, walnuts, macadamia nuts, cashews ... will help you stay in shape and enhance brain function. In addition, these nuts are rich in healthy fats and antioxidants that are very good for brain cells. You can combine nuts and berries with yogurt to create a delicious dish that also helps improve brain health.

4. Use Olive Oil

With the effect of preventing Alzheimer's disease, olive oil plays an important role in the Mediterranean diet. Olive oil contains the compound oleocanthal, which has the effect of changing the structure of toxic chemicals in the brain, thereby preventing the ability to harm brain nerve cells.

In addition, according to a study published in the Journal of Molecular Biology, oleic acid in olive oil also helps prevent cancer from developing in the brain. This fatty acid stimulates the production of a cell molecule that helps prevent proteins that cause tumor formation in cells.

5. Fatty fish

Salmon, sardines, and tuna all contain high levels of omega-3 fatty acids. These acids help reduce the amount of amyloid beta (a toxic protein in the brain), thereby reducing the risk of dementia.

What's more, your body can't produce these substances on its own, so adding them to your diet will help reduce inflammation, lower your risk of heart disease, boost your memory, and prevent mood swings and depression.
