Mix toothpaste with this, clean plaque

Mix toothpaste with salt or baking soda

When brushing your teeth, you can mix a little toothpaste with salt or baking soda to remove plaque on your teeth. Baking soda and salt both have antibacterial properties and help eliminate bad breath and remove plaque on your teeth. Combining baking soda/salt with toothpaste will increase the effectiveness of cleaning your teeth.

However, it is important to note that you should not use this method too often because it can damage tooth enamel. It is best to use it a maximum of 2 times/week.

Some other ways to clean your teeth

- Using guava leaves

Guava leaves can help you clean plaque on your teeth effectively. In addition, it also helps reduce gum swelling. You can wash the guava leaves and chew them directly for a few minutes. Then, spit out the guava leaves and rinse your mouth with clean water.

- White vinegar

White vinegar helps fight bacteria and remove plaque on your teeth, preventing the accumulation of tartar. You can replace white vinegar with apple cider vinegar.

- Tomato pulp

Tomato pulp contains a lot of vitamin C, has antibacterial properties, and helps prevent tartar buildup. You can take tomato pulp and apply it evenly on the surface and leave it for about 5 minutes. Then, rinse your mouth with clean water. Do this up to 2 times a week.

Note that using these natural ingredients only helps to clean and remove plaque, and the effect will not come immediately, but you need to persevere over a long period of time. The best way to protect your oral health is to visit your dentist every 6 months for a dental cleaning and check for other problems. In addition, with daily oral care, maintain the habit of brushing your teeth after main meals. Use dental floss or water floss to remove food particles in between your teeth, helping to prevent tooth decay.
