Put them in your home and mice will run away

1.  Repelling Mice with Chili Powder

Chili powder has a pungent smell and spicy flavor that mice dislike. You can use chili powder to drive mice out of your home. Simply sprinkle the chili powder (the spicier and more fragrant, the better) in areas where mice frequently pass or where they reside. The smell of chili powder will make them leave and they are unlikely to return.

2.  Repelling Mice with Garlic

Garlic is a strong-smelling spice with excellent properties for repelling various pests. Mice, with their sharp sense of smell, can detect the scent of garlic and will run away. You can crush fresh garlic cloves and place them in corners of the house or in areas where mice are likely to visit. Alternatively, you can use garlic powder and sprinkle it into wall cracks, or stuff cotton balls with garlic juice and place them in gaps to prevent mice from gnawing their way into the house.

3.  Repelling Mice with Cinnamon

Cinnamon has a fragrant and spicy smell that is effective at repelling both insects and mice. You can place cinnamon sticks in areas where mice are likely to frequent, such as the kitchen, under cabinets, or in pantry shelves. The scent of cinnamon will make the mice hesitant to approach. Cinnamon is also effective in repelling cockroaches, flies, and mosquitoes.

4.  Repelling Mice with Mint Leaves

Mint leaves, with their refreshing, slightly spicy aroma, are a natural repellent for both insects and mice. You can place crushed fresh mint leaves in areas where mice are likely to pass or in hidden corners where they might hide. When they smell the mint, mice will become disoriented and will seek to escape.

5.  Repelling Mice with Essential Oils

Essential oils with strong fragrances are a great deterrent for mice and insects. You can use essential oils such as cinnamon, peppermint, lavender, or citronella, along with an essential oil diffuser or an oil burner, to fill the house with scents that will drive mice away. To enhance the effect, soak cotton balls with essential oils and place them in cracks, wall gaps, or anywhere mice might create their pathways.

6.  Repelling Mice with Laundry Detergent Powder

You can mix chili sauce with laundry detergent powder and water. Pour this mixture into a spray bottle and shake it until well mixed. Spray the solution in areas where mice are frequently seen. The laundry detergent acts as a glue, helping the chili smell to linger longer. This ensures that mice will avoid the area and not cause da.mage.
