Put this in your toilet and come back after 30 minutes… you won’t believe your eyes!

Some families scrub their toilets every single day, yet the bowl still turns yellow and gives off an unpleasant odor — so what should you do in that case?
If you’re facing the same problem, there’s an incredibly simple way to clean it effectively.

Step 1

First, prepare some baking soda and salt in a 1:1 ratio.

Mix the baking soda and salt evenly, then sprinkle the mixture over the yellow stains inside the toilet bowl — especially around the drain area.

Step 2

After spreading the mixture of salt and baking soda, use a toilet brush to scrub the inside surface of the bowl.
Make sure not to wet the brush at first — let the abrasive texture of the salt and baking soda work together to remove the yellow stains effectively.

Step 3

This step works especially well during summer.
Since hot weather can cause bathrooms to develop unpleasant odors and attract small flying insects or mosquitoes, you can add a few drops of toilet cleaner while scrubbing. This helps disinfect and freshen the bowl.

Step 4

Next, scrub the toilet again using your toilet brush — but this time, dip it in a little water before scrubbing.
This helps lift away any remaining dirt or residue.

Final Step

Once you’ve finished scrubbing, flush the toilet to wash away all the yellow stains and dirt.
The result? A toilet that’s not only clean and odor-free, but also helps repel mosquitoes naturally.
