Take this and stick it in a lemon and leave it in the corner of the house

You can use lemon to repel mosquitoes. Let's explore how to do it below.
There are many ways to repel mosquitoes. You can use sprays, mosquito coils, and various essential oils. Additionally, many natural ingredients can help keep mosquitoes out of your home.
Lemon is one of them. All you need is a lemon and a few dry cloves to safely repel mosquitoes without worrying about affecting your health. You can buy dry cloves at local herbal medicine shops or spice and herb stores.
Cut the lemon horizontally. Insert a few dry cloves into the cut surface of the lemon. The more cloves you use, the stronger the scent and the better the mosquito-repelling effect.
Place the lemon with the cloves in the corners of the house or in areas where mosquitoes are concentrated, such as the bathroom, kitchen, or living room. You can place the lemon on a plate for easier cleanup later.
Using Coffee Grounds
If you often drink brewed coffee or machine coffee, you can use the coffee grounds to repel mosquitoes. Dry the coffee grounds thoroughly and then set them on fire. Use the burned coffee grounds to fumigate the house, especially in corners where mosquitoes gather.
Note, when burning coffee grounds, make sure to open the windows for ventilation. Also, pay attention to the burning coffee grounds as they won’t create a flame but will produce smoke.
Using Grapefruit Peel
You can use grapefruit peel as a mosquito-repelling incense. Simply dry the grapefruit peel. When needed, take a piece of the peel, light it, and use the scent to fumigate the house. You can place the burning peel at the doorways, windows, or ventilation openings. Make sure the area is well-ventilated, and avoid closing the doors while fumigating. Be cautious not to let the flame spread to other objects.
Using Plant-Based Essential Oils for Mosquito Repellent
Mosquitoes tend to dislike the scent of various herbal essential oils. You can use natural essential oils such as lavender, citronella, eucalyptus, cinnamon, or peppermint to repel mosquitoes. These oils can be used with diffusers or mixed into floor cleaning water.
Additionally, the simplest way to repel mosquitoes is by using menthol oil. This affordable ingredient is commonly found in households. Just apply a few drops of menthol oil in mosquito-prone areas or directly onto your skin.
Applying a bit of menthol oil to a fan can also help spread the scent more widely, making it easier to repel mosquitoes.
