What Is Your Normal Blood Pressure Based on Age? Not Everyone Knows!
Blo.od pressure levels vary from person to person—what may be considered low for one individual might be stable for another.
Blood pressure is one of the key indicators of life. Without it, blood cannot circulate throughout the body, depriving organs of the oxygen and nutrients needed to function properly.
According to medical experts, normal blood pressure varies for each individual. So, what exactly is considered a normal blo.od pressure level?
What Is Normal Blood Pressure?

- High-Normal Blood Pressure: Systolic 130–139 mmHg, Diastolic 85–89 mmHg.
- Hypertension (High Blood Pressure): Systolic ≥ 140 mmHg, Diastolic ≥ 90 mmHg.

How to Measure Blood Pressure Accurately at Home
To ensure an accurate blood pressure reading at home, follow these three key steps:
- Take two consecutive measurements each time, with a one-minute interval, while sitting.
- Measure blood pressure twice a day, preferably once in the morning and once in the evening.
- Record measurements for at least four days, ideally seven days. Disregard the first day’s readings and use the average of the remaining readings (> 135/85 mmHg) to confirm a diagnosis.
By understanding your normal blood pressure levels and monitoring them regularly, you can take better control of your health and prevent potential complications.
