Sam Milby expressed his excitement as he shared some details about his 2024 wedding with Catriona Gray as well as their plans on starting a family.
“I’m very excited. We have a great team behind us, helping us prepare so it is a little stressful,” the 39-year-old actor said in an interview with ABS-CBN News at a recently concluded fashion event with renowned designer Francis Libiran.
The Replacing Chef Chico star remained tight-lipped about the exact date of their big day, but revealed that they’re opting for an intimate ceremony in 2024. He added that they are both hands-on with planning, but said that Catriona is “much more of the planner than [he is].”
Sam also revealed that he’s going to wear a suit by Libiran.
When asked about their plans to start a family after marriage, Sam said that he is “ready,” noting that he is about to turn 40 next year.
But is Catriona ready to be a mom? Sam answered: “It’s not that she’s ready—we’re both so excited to start a family, but it’s enjoying the marriage first.”
In September, the 29-year-old beauty queen-model briefly talked about their wedding plans, sharing that she’s been preparing mood boards and vision boards to gather their pegs—from the venue’s design to their desired colors.
Catriona also mentioned that Sam mostly lets her decide on their wedding, but she enjoys it more when they collaborate.
“We’re really collaborating on anything, which I think is great. I also want to feel his voice in the wedding,” she said.
Sam went Instagram official with Catriona on his birthday in 2020. They got engaged in February 2023.
The couple has been busy with their individual and joint commitments, including their concerts The Heartthrob and the Queen in Hawaii and Only You-niverse in Canada.
