Selena Gomez took the time to reply to several haters who say her relationship with producer Benny Blanco is a downgrade from boyfriends she had in the past. The singer confirmed the new romance by commenting on a post by celebrity gossip page Pop Factions.
Gomez, 31, wrote “facts” on a post saying she seemingly confirmed her relationship with Blanco by sharing a few pictures on Instagram Stories alongside the “Love Yourself” co-writer.
Justin Bieber, the “Love Yourself” singer and Gomez’s ex-boyfriend, is now married to Hailey Bieber and was thought to good friends with Blanco.
Fans are not so sure where their friendship stands now that Blanco is dating Gomez, but they are comparing the two men, which she did not take lightly.
Gomez wrote back to the haters on the Pop Factions post and called Blanco “better than anyone I’ve ever been with.” She has since deleted the comments.

She also commented “I’m not going to be with a f—boy ever again,” but did not mention any names. Gomez, who has notably dated Bieber, The Weeknd, Taylor Lautner and Nick Jonas, added that nobody will tell her how to live.
“I will never allow your words to guide my life,” Gomez wrote. “If you can’t accept me at my happiest then don’t be in [my] life at all.”
Blanco, 35, has worked with Gomez in the past. Four years ago, he produced her first reggaeton song, which featured J Balvin. They have now been dating for six months.
It’s unclear how they first started dating, but Gomez will probably offer more insight on her Instagram Stories over the next few weeks.

In a video shared by E! News on Instagram, which has now been deleted, Benny could be seen standing next to his girlfriend before she was about to walk the red carpet and pose for photos.
The video, which had no sound, saw Benny talking to Selena as she walked towards the red carpet. He could then be seen blowing kisses to his girlfriend as she walked off to pose for photos.
But soon after blowing kisses to the Lose You To Love Me hitmaker, Benny was seen reacting to something someone said, which could not be seen on camera.
Selena was then back in view before the camera panned back to Benny, who could be seen getting escorted off of the red carpet. Selena Gomez’s new BF reportedly shooed away from the red carpet because security staff mistook him for a homeless man. Benny didn’t look bothered as he departed the area.
