Selena Gomez debunked speculations that she, Taylor Swift, and Kaleigh Teller were gossiping about Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet.
The actress-entrepreneur set the record straight in E! News’ Instagram post on Wednesday, Jan. 10 (Philippine time).
“Noooooo I told Taylor about two of my friends who hooked up. Not that that’s [anyone’s] business,” she commented.
Fans, as well as lip readers, speculated that the gossip was about Gomez asking for a photo with Chalamet, but the Wonka actor allegedly said no.
Following this, People magazine reported that a source told them that the Rare Beauty founder wasn’t talking about the two, saying that she “never even saw or spoke to them.”
Gomez was nominated for best performance by a female actor in a television musical or comedy for her role in Only Murders in the Building.
Chalamet, meanwhile, was nominated for best actor in a motion picture for his role in Wonka. He also made headlines after sharing a PDA moment with Kylie Jenner.
