Song Hye Kyo has hinted at expanding her horizons in her upcoming projects

Song Hye Kyo recently won Best Actress at the 2nd Blue Dragon Series Awards for her role in “The Glory,” a Netflix series that garnered international acclaim. She expressed that her acting had started to feel repetitive, but “The Glory” offered a refreshing change in genre and character, reigniting her passion for acting.

Song Hys Kyo also discussed her mature approach to her career, acknowledging that success and disappointment are both part of the journey. She mentioned her eagerness to explore various genres in her future works, including horror, thriller, and comedy, expressing interest in playing diverse roles.

Regarding her 27-year career, she admitted that while she doesn’t dwell on numbers, she occasionally realizes how much time has passed. She emphasized that while external changes happen with age, her inner self remains similar, and her experiences have contributed to her growth as a woman and as a human being.

As for her next project, she expressed some regret over a missed opportunity to work with actress Han So Hee and director Shim Na Yeon on “The Price of Confession” but remains optimistic about future collaborations with talented actresses of the MZ generation.
