Song Joong Ki made his return to Korea, landing at Incheon International Airport on the afternoon of September 19. The accomplished actor had been residing with his family in Italy for seven months, sparking much attention upon his return.
The actor was spotted at immigration sporting a casual look accentuated by a stylish baseball cap and hoodie. He was also holding his pet, drawing significant attention from the public. Notably, his wife, Katy Louise Saunders, and their son, who were expected to accompany him, were not visible to the prying reporter’s lenses.
Song Joong Ki, who has returned to Korea, is expected to spend the Chuseok holiday with his family in Korea. He will also continue his career as an actor as he prepares for the release of his starring film ‘Hwaran‘ in October.

While Song Joong Ki made a surprise announcement about his second marriage and premarital pregnancy, his parents kept quiet.
Sports Seoul tried to contact Song Joong Ki’s parents on January 30th. Song Joong Ki’s father reportedly hung up the phone and stayed silent when the media reporter revealed their identity. The actor’s mother reportedly showed a cautious attitude. She said, “I have nothing to say.“
Song Joong Ki delivered the surprise marriage news through a post on his fan cafe on the same day. He said, “I promised to share my future life with Katy Louise Saunders. A precious life has come to us. We’re on our way to register our marriage to make a new start in our life as a couple based on our deep trust and love.”
Regarding this, Song Joong Ki’s agency, HighZium Studio, told Wikitree, “It is true that Song Joong Ki registered his marriage with Katy. The two are also planning to hold a wedding ceremony. However, the specific schedule has not been set yet.“
