LJ Reyes and Philip Evangelista’s vows to each other will definitely make you believe in true love!
Nice Print Photography on Oct. 19 released a new video capturing the highlights of the couple’s intimate garden wedding in the United States on Oct. 8.
LJ and Philip likewise shared the sweet video on their respective Instagram accounts, with the caption, “I think I will be watching this for the rest of my life! Thank you Nice Print Photography for this beautiful video.”
It starts off with a dreamy black-and-white aesthetic, showing glimpses of the two getting ready for their big day. The scenery finally burst with color when LJ and Philip shared the most romantic kiss in their wedding outfits.
Just as Brandon Lake’s Lost In Your Love starts playing in the background, LJ and Philip exchanged their heartfelt vows to each other now that they’re on the path to forever.
“It had been quite a journey to get here, but everything made sense when I met you,” LJ said, looking at her partner with the sincerest of smiles.
“I feel so grateful and blessed to have found you, my home. To have found a person who is so much like me, but most importantly, a person I can truly surrender my life to,” she continued.
LJ promised that she will be by Philip’s side to shower him with love for as long as they are together.
“I promise that I will spend each and every day loving you, respecting you, honoring you, taking care of you, and adoring you. I love you,” she said.
Philip returned her love with sweet words of his own, “Lourna, I thank God for meeting you. You give me love I never knew possible, but most importantly, I promise to be patient, to love and cherish you in all the days of my life.”
The video ended with LJ and Philip getting lost in each other’s love as they sealed their marriage with an intimate kiss.
The Kapuso star announced her engagement to Philip in May, quoting the bible verse of Jeremiah 29:11 NLT in the caption: “’For I know the plans I have for you,’ says the Lord. ‘They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.’”
She and her kids moved to New York in September 2021 following her controversial breakup with Paolo Contis after a six-year relationship.
