At the Watsons Health Expo 2024 held at SM Megatrade Hall on February 3, 2024, Jessy told the press, “Sana. Gusto ko nga po lima. Sana kaya ko sunud-sunod.”

In the meantime, she wants to focus on her showbiz comeback, and explore the opportunities coming her way.

She continued, “Pero siyempre po, may mga seasons tayo in life. So I’m prioritizing this season right now na ang daming blessings.

“So kailangan natin bigyan ng time din.”

The 31-year-old mom was consistent about her baby plans.

During the Truth or Lie game for the segment of Health Fusion’s Beauty Bunny, the brand she is endorsing, the polygraph test affirmed her desire to have a second baby.

She said, “Sana. Sana talaga. I really want to have as much kids as I can. As in gusto ko ng maraming anak.”

But you know, andami din kailangan gawin ngayon, so maybe soon, but not right now. Not very soon.”

NICKNAMES FOR BABY ROSIE AND HER SOON-TO-BE SIBLING

Jessy prefers calling her daughter “Rosie,” while Luis fondly calls her “Peanut.”

The actress revealed a “fun fact”: she was “nagpasimuno ng Peanut.”

She recalled, “Kasi when we first saw Rosie inside my tummy sa ultrasound, naka-shape siya as peanut.

“Tapos, may iba din palang mga mommies, ganun pala nagsimula. It’s either Peanut or Bean.

“Kasi shaped nga as either peanut or bean si Baby. I think, ano ako noon, mga two months pa lang. Tapos, doon ko nakita, sabi ko kay Luis, ‘Uy, love, o, parang siyang peanut.’

“Tapos, it’s stuck na with him.”

Jessy remembered Luis saying, “She’ll always be my Peanut Manzano.”

And if they’ll be blessed with another baby, she joked about calling her “Butter” or “Jam.”

JESSY MENDIOLA ON MOTHERHOOD

Smart Parenting website asked: “What do you love most about being a mom to Peanut? And what do you struggle with the most?

The celebrity mommy, who gave birth on December 28, 2022, replied, “Actually, I don’t…I have lots of struggles, but I try not to bring myself down with it.

“Para sa akin, I’m really just proud of every milestone of Peanut.

“And my favorite time with her is, I don’t know, every minute of the day.

“So every moment, talagang siya tini-treasure ko.”

“Oh yes. After I gave birth, talagang I had doubts. And even while I was pregnant, I was so nervous na parang, kaya ko ba ito?

“Kasi I’m a first-time mom, e.

“But you know, totoo pala yun. You just go with it.

“Saka iba-iba naman ang babies, e. Iba-iba din ang parents.

“So kailangan mo rin makibagay sa anak niyo.

“And so far naman, nagwo-work, di ba?

“So, ang doubts, ang struggles, dadating talaga yun, but, you know, ang important is, ikaw, you just go through with it.

“You just learn lessons, and talagang worth the experience.”

The important thing, according to her, is to have self-love and self-care.

In Jessy’s case, aside from having regular dates with Luis and quiet moments alone, she has been conscious about her health.

The Beauty Bunny that she is endorsing is said to have the following benefits: “good mood,” “radiant skin,” “thick and bouncy hair,” “strong nails,” “weight loss,” as well as “immunity.”
