BoA Shocks Korean Netizens With Changed Visuals
On March 28, 2024, a post titled “That’s BoA…??” was shared on a well-known South Korean online community forum. The original poster (OP) shared two screenshots from BoA’s TikTok account.
One thing that stands out is how different BoA looks in the video than in photos from years ago. Her eyes appear smaller and more slanted, which differs from the large, almond-shaped eyes she had before. She also no longer has her aegyosal.
Her lips appear to be more plump, and her nose bridge looks higher than before. Overall, her face appears more stiff than it used to be.
Korean netizens soon rushed to the comment section of the past, with people agreeing that the idol looks completely different.
Some people stated they did not believe it was BoA, with some saying that it looks like a totally different person. Others even joked that she resembles SM Entertainment’s founder, Lee Soo Man, now.
The two things that stood out among Korean netizens were her lips and eyes. K-netz claims her eyes look completely different, while also commenting that the larger upperlip is a look that does not suit her.
Some comments read,
- “I need someone to be honest with me. Is that BoA or not?”
- “That’s how BoA looks like online? That is literally someone else.”
- “When is BoA going to drop the overlip look?”
- “BoA looks like Lee Soo Man.”
