Netizens were touched after watching a simple, yet emotional gender reveal of a couple from Zamboanga City.

In a now-viral TikTok video, Sue Cabanes, 31, and Marc Cabanes, 33, can be seen holding a piece of paper which contains the gender of their second baby.

“Alam kong magiging happy siya, pero hindi ko inexpect na ganon ka-happy. Tawang-tawa talaga ako kapag pinapanood ko ‘yung video kasi synchronized ‘yung reaction namin,”  Mommy Sue told the Philippine STAR.

“Kahit ako nung nakita ko ‘yung video, nagulat ako parang iba ‘yung reaction ko ah. Nakita ‘yung totoong kulay ko eh. Natatawa ako do’n sa mga comments sa TikTok na “pati si daddy nag-gender reveal,’” Daddy Marc added.

The online community was quick to congratulate the couple.

“Tatlo na po tayong masaya at excited dito,” a netizen said.

“Ang cute! Dami kong tawa, parang chismisan lang sa eksena ng tawa at apir-apir,” another user commented.

Daddy Marc said that he was caught off-guard by his priceless reaction.

“Nung kaming dalawa lang talaga, hindi namin pinigilan ‘yung reaksyon namin kasi walang ibang tao. Unlike kapag may ibang tao, minsan conscious ka, pigil onti. Nung kami lang sa kotse, walang nakakakita so all-out ‘yung emotions. Deep inside, dahil may boy na kami, umaasa ako na sana girl,” he shared.

“Kaya galit na galit siya sa’kin nung inupload ko sa TikTok tapos biglang nag-viral, sabi niya ano ba ‘yan kung kelan OA-OA reaction niya,” Mommy Sue added.

According to Mommy Sue, her second pregnancy is a bit challenging compared to their first born, Chandler.

“Maselan masyado ‘yung second pregnancy ko and nagkaroon ako ng gestational diabetes. Talagang lumaki talaga ako tapos nangitim talaga. Tapos highblood din ako. ‘Di ba sabi nila kapag blooming ka, girl.  Well, sa case ko, it was baliktad,” she recalled.

During their first pregnancy, the couple went all in to celebrate every milestone. But for their daughter, Phoebe, they decided to have a simple yet meaningful gender reveal.

“Nandon ‘yung excitement sa first baby and everything so we wanted to share it with everyone, as a first-time mom and parent. Kasi nung sa first baby namin, house blessing namin so sinabay. Simple lang din with family and friends. Ta’s ito, parang mas gusto namin na kami talaga ‘yung unang makaalam,” the couple noted.

Daddy Marc stressed that Phoebe is definitely a daddy’s girl!

“Feeling ko baka talagang magiging strict. Nakakapanibago minsan nag-ooorder ako ng headband,” he said.

Mommy Sue added, ”Sanay siyang mag-order kasi ng dinosaurs, sharks, bike, maliliit na cars. Sabi ko, “kailangan updated ka na sa mga Disney princess, hindi na pwede ‘yung mga baril-barilan ‘yung ipanood mo.”
