The issue about the rumored ex-lover of the late Master Rapper Francis Magalona and their alleged child resurfaced.
Francis was known to be the husband of Pia Arroyo-Magalona and they had 8 children. His legacy in the entertainment industry is still being remembered until now even though years have passed since he died due to cancer. The late celebrity’s birthday was celebrated by his family last October 4. His eldest child Maxene Magalona shared a heartfelt post about the vital lessons she learned from her father.
On October 17, Pinoy Pawnstars released episode 267, which featured Abegail Rait and her daughter Gaile Francesca.
Based on the article in PEP, this story is not shocking anymore to those who know the past issue. It was said that back in 2009 when Francis died, photos of Abegail and their daughter surfaced online.
Back then, information surfaced that the child had her “binyag” on December 28, 2008, in a church in Kawit, Cavite. It was also said that defunct Kapuso programs Startalk and Showbiz Central tried to create a report about this issue. However, it was said that people working behind TAPE Inc., Eat Bulaga’s producer, asked the two shows to spare the late rapper from the intrigues and show respect for his memory and his family.
Luzadas, also known as Boss Toyo who collects items of local artists and documents it through the YouTube series “Pinoy Pawnstars,” earlier paid half a million pesos for a Francis M-jersey from Abegail Rait, a former flight attendant who claimed to have a romantic relationship with the Master Rapper—the result of which was a now 15-year-old daughter who takes after him in looks and talent in rap.
In his interview on “One Balita Pilipinas” on Wednesday, Oct. 18, the social media personality admitted that even he was taken aback by Rait’s revelation, adding that more than the jersey with a P500,000 price tag, the memorabilia was made even more valuable because of what it symbolized.
Still, he said he was initially torn on whether he would upload the vlog or not because he also took into consideration the “other side of the story,” apparently referring to Francis’ family with Pia.
“Wala po akong idea na merong gano’n, na si idol natin na si Sir Francis—nagulat po tayo,” Luzadas said, speaking to news anchor Cheryl Cosim. “Pero ang sa akin, OK lang naman ‘yon kasi meron talagang mga gano’ng pangyayari na ‘di natin inaasahan.”
Luzadas then disclosed that he already met Pia once when he bought Francis’ “Bagsakan” polo, which was auctioned in March for Parokya ni Edgar member Gab Chee Kee’s medical treatment. Luzadas claimed he had reached out to Pia to notify her of his video about Rait, but that she did not reply to him.
“I texted Ma’am Pia. I informed her na naka-schedule po ‘yung upload [nung video]. I didn’t bother to call kasi nakakahiya,” Luzadas explained. (I informed her that the video was already scheduled for upload. I didn’t bother to call her because I was shy.)
“It was really hard for me. Actually, it took me hundred times before I decided to upload it [because I knew] it will really spread like wildfire,” he continued, but that it couldn’t be helped since talks of Francis’ supposed affair have already been on the internet since 2009. “Sabi ko darating din ‘yung punto na malalaman ng tao so I will take the risk for my show.” (I figured that the public would know about it in one way or another so I [took] the risk for my show.)
When asked if he had doubts about Rait’s claims, Luzadas said he had none, noting the strong resemblance between Francis and Gaile Francesca, the late rapper’s supposed daughter who came with Rait to the “Pinoy Pawnstars” shop and was also featured on Luzadas’ vlog.
“Si Francesca, mag-aartista din kasi siya so sooner or later din talaga, it will come out… ‘Yun din ‘yung [nagpa-decide] sa akin na ipalabas ko na siya…,” Luzadas added.
(Francesca will also enter show business so [the affair] would really come out sooner or later. That was also one of the factors that made me decide to release [the vlog].)
Pia and her children with Francis have yet to publicly comment on the matter, although their son Frank intrigued netizens after he liked a Twitter post from a netizen who called Rait a “homewrecker” and “mistress.”
