How to clean fan blades without removing the frame
The electric fan is covered with dust on both the blades and frame after a period of use, causing the capacity to decrease as well as affecting the air in the house. Removing the fan to clean will take you a lot of time. Therefore, to make it simpler, please save some tips for cleaning the fan below.
1. Use white vinegar and a nylon bag:
Put detergent, fabric softener and white vinegar in a spray bottle, shake well, spray a little on the fan's radiator and use a scrubber to wipe this part. Then spray the homemade cleaning solution on the fan blades, take a large nylon bag and cover the radiator.
Turn on the fan, the fan blades rotate to create wind causing the cleaning solution to splash out, pulling out the stains.
In the homemade cleaning solution above, the detergent helps remove dirt, vinegar softens stains on the fan, and fabric softener helps limit dirt sticking to the fan.
2. Use toothpaste and a toothbrush:
To clean a fan that is heavily soiled, squeeze about 3 cm of toothpaste into a box or container, add water to dilute it. Use an old toothbrush to stir the mixture until it dissolves, then dip the toothbrush into the solution, brush directly onto the gaps of the fan mesh, along the structure of the mesh cover.
Be careful not to let the water on the toothbrush flow into the motor of the electric fan.
With these ways to clean the fan without removing the frame, you will no longer be afraid of cleaning the electric fan.
3. Use baking soda:
Prepare: 2 teaspoons of baking soda, 1 teaspoon of vinegar, 250 ml of water. In addition, you need dishwashing liquid and a spray bottle.
Mix baking soda with vinegar, add a few drops of dishwashing liquid and stir well until the mixture foams and the baking soda is completely dissolved. Then put the mixture in a spray bottle, unplug the fan and start cleaning.
First, spray the mixed solution evenly on the front and back of the dirty fan blades to soften the stains, clean and kill bacteria.
Wait about 10 minutes, then plug in the power and turn on the switch. The rotating fan blades will create wind, causing the cleaning solution to splash around, pulling away the stains.
Note: To prevent the fan stains from dirtying the house, you need to place the fan in a suitable place such as the yard, bathroom floor or use a bag to cover the fan to reduce the range of splashing.
