Shocking discovery: 67,000 usd in gold found hidden inside a blender!

India's Directorate General of Customs Intelligence (DRI) has seized gold worth around Rs 6 crore hidden inside a blender at Jaipur airport, authorities said on Tuesday, according to Indiatoday.

The gold, weighing about 700 grams, was recovered from a smuggler who was travelling to Jaipur (Rajasthan, India) from Sharjah (UAE) on an Air Arabia flight late on Monday night.

Suspicious, the DRI team searched the man’s luggage and found a blender. Upon inspection, the officers discovered that an internal part of the machine had been tampered with. A thorough investigation led to the discovery of the hidden gold.

This seizure marks the third gold smuggling case intercepted by the DRI at Jaipur airport in the last 10 days.
