Three Principles to Prevent Can,cer Cells — Everyone Should Act Now to Say No to the Disease

To reduce the risk of cancer and prevent the growth of cancer-causing cells, it is important to follow certain principles.

How do cancer cells form?

Healthy cells that carry mutated genes can become cancer cells. These mutations are often inherited or occur as people age. In addition, genes can be damaged by negative external factors such as an unhealthy diet, ultraviolet radiation from sunlight, and exposure to chemicals.

Cancer can develop in any cell in the body. Normal cells die when they are no longer useful, whereas cancer cells continue to grow and divide uncontrollably. They do not mature like healthy cells but remain in an immature state.

Cancer cells are characterized by uncontrolled division, insufficient maturity to perform beneficial functions for the body, disruption of the immune system, failure to respond to normal signals that regulate cell division, and resistance to cell death. Moreover, these cells can spread to other parts of the body through the bloodstream or lymphatic system, damaging tissues and organs.

How do cancer cells metastasize?

As cancer cells continue to grow, tumors become progressively larger. These tumors mainly rely on nearby blood vessels for nourishment. Through these blood vessels, cancer cells can invade and spread to other parts of the body, causing cancer to appear in tissues adjacent to the original site.

The metastatic process begins when cancer cells travel farther away from where the disease initially started. They detach from the primary tumor and move to new areas of the body via the blood or lymphatic system. Because of this behavior, doctors classify cancer into different stages.

Three principles to prevent the development of cancer cells

To reduce the risk of cancer and inhibit the growth of cancer cells, the following principles should be followed:

Build an anti-cancer diet

The most effective way to prevent cancer is to strengthen the body’s immune system. Nutrition plays a major role in overall health. You should eat plenty of vegetables, fresh fruits, whole grains, fiber-rich foods, and fruits high in antioxidants.

Increase your intake of vitamins and minerals by eating a varied diet and using simple cooking methods such as boiling or steaming. In particular, you should strictly limit sugar intake, as sugar promotes tumor growth. Reduce consumption of red meat such as beef, and instead choose chicken and various types of fish.

Exercise to boost immunity

Many studies show that people who exercise regularly have a lower risk of developing cancer. This is understandable because physical activity strengthens the immune system and helps prevent the growth and spread of infectious agents. In addition, exercise effectively reduces insulin levels and tumor growth factors.

Regular exercise helps control body weight and prevents obesity. Obesity itself is a major factor that stimulates the development of many types of cancer. Physical activity also increases blood flow to organs such as the liver, kidneys, and intestines, enhancing detoxification and thereby helping to stop cancer cell growth.

Get adequate rest

You should learn to balance work, rest, and leisure time appropriately. The body’s ability to recover largely depends on daily lifestyle habits. If you do not get enough sleep or are frequently under stress, the immune system weakens rapidly, creating conditions that allow disease “seeds,” including cancer cells, to develop.
