In addition to her role as a Girl’s Day idol, Hyeri shares a close bond with members of BLACKPINK, particularly Jisoo and Rosé. In 2022, fans were pleasantly surprised when Jisoo sent a coffee and food truck to the set of “May I Help You?” to support Hyeri’s drama, despite being busy with BLACKPINK’s “Born Pink” world tour at the time.
Expressing her gratitude, Hyeri posted, “The coffee truck, churros, and snacks were sent by Jisoo. Knowing how busy you are with your world tour, I’m even more thankful. Jisoo is the best. I love you.”
Prior to this, Hyeri welcomed Jisoo and Rosé as guests on the show “Amazing Saturday,” where she was a regular cast member. Rosé later shared that it was Hyeri who took the initiative to approach and befriend her during the program.
As their friendship blossomed, fans were delighted to see Jisoo and Hyeri’s interactions, although they rarely shared photos together. However, they maintain an active presence on social media, engaging with each other’s posts.

BLACKPINK Jisoo Reveals Why the Group Hasn’t Returned to the Coachella Line-Up
During her appearance, Hyeri asked about Jisoo’s most memorable moment from the tour. To this end, Jisoo recounted the unique experience she had at Coachella, where BLACKPINK had to rearrange their song lineup from the usual tour setlist.
Reflecting on her emotions after witnessing BLACKPINK’s concert, Hyeri shared her thoughts. This led Jisoo to advise Hyeri against attending Coachella. She revealed why she’d rather not go back, with reasons such as strong winds, sandstorms, and long periods of standing and walking.
Jisoo stated that performing at Coachella was an unforgettable memory, but thinking about whether or not to go back was difficult. When asked by Hyeri if the girl group was performing at the upcoming Coachella festival, she stated they were not. She said, “If I performed last year, I won’t be able to perform again next year.”
With that, Jisoo revealed that Coachella has a policy of not allowing artists to perform in consecutive years.
