Months after announcing their breakup, Kim Chiu clarified that she has no hard feelings toward her ex-boyfriend Xian Lim who she said she does not treat like an enemy.

In an interview with Saksi on March 22, Chiu said she’s open to having Lim make a guest appearance on the noontime show “It’s Showtime” where she is one of the hosts. “It’s Showtime” just recently signed a contract with GMA allowing the ABS-CBN noontime show to be broadcast on its main channel beginning April 6, paving the way for the possibility of having Kapuso artists make guest appearances on the show.

Chiu, in the interview, said that she’s “okay” working with Lim should the opportunity presents itself.

“Okay lang naman mag-guest siya sa ‘It’s Showtime.’ Or mag-prod siya. Hindi naman kami magkaaway or something,” she said. (It’s okay for him to guest on ‘It’s Showtime.’ Or he can do a production number. We’re not enemies or anything.)

The actress-host said she entered her “Kim Version 3.0” after her breakup with Lim, as she noted that she’s now unafraid of “trying new things” and enjoying her life as a single woman.

(She’s not afraid to try new things because she had things holding her back. Now it’s time to try new things, do different things, and experience something new. Open ‘yung heart ko but I’m enjoying my time being myself.)

In a separate interview with celebrity doctor Vicki Belo, Chiu admitted that she has “no idea” about Lim’s “new love.” The latter is embroiled in relationship rumors with film producer Iris Lee, although neither parties have yet to confirm nor deny the allegations.

On the other hand, Lim said in a recent “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” interview that love is “very painful” and it “disappears” at some point.

Chiu and Lim were in a relationship for more than a decade before confirming their split in December 2023.
