A chef has shared a message that was hidden in a vegan food order from a carnivorous boyfriend desperate for some dairy.
The note was sneaked into an Uber Eats delivery order in Australia by a man called Aiden, who was trying to get a slice of cheese added to his $25 (£14) vegan burger without his missus knowing.
A photo of the cry for help was posted in Reddit, with the caption: “Possibly the best Uber request I’ve seen.”
The note read: “I know this is a little weird for a vegan burger but I’m not actually vegan, my mrs just won’t let me get the beef burger because I slaughter them often and she reckons Imma get heart disease if I keep going.

“But can you pretty please sneak a little cheese on that bad boy so I can live a little. Hope you have an awesome night. Kind regards.”

Since the snap was posted, it has left users in hysterics, with people praising the lad for going to such great lengths to get some cheese.
One person said: “I just love that the man took the effort to put the cheese emoji in there, even though it didn’t show up in the app.”

But the majority of people were just shocked by the price of the burger, with most saying he had been royally ripped off.

This was echoed by another, who commented: “As an American, an 18 dollar burger is a crime. I think I may have paid 13 for just a burger once (no fries/side.) I’d heard prices were up there in AUS, but dang.”
This comes after a customer at a restaurant in Germany shared their disgust at being handed a plate of tomatoes, rather than the salad they had ordered.
A Reddit user, going by the name Tourist Gandi14, posted a snap of their order that they received while after ‘a long mudflat hiking tour’ on the German island of Amrum.

The disgruntled diner claims they forked out €6 (£5.40) for the dish but were utterly disappointed when it arrived at their table.
After sharing the snap on the subreddit ‘sh****yfoodporn’, other users piled in to share their disbelief and horror at the expensive ‘meal’.
Commenting on the post, one person said: “‘Jeez. Not even a bit of salt and pepper. That’s rough.”
While an evidently dismayed Redditor wrote: “That salad is sadder than my life.”
