To make delicious, tender boiled chicken without worrying about undercooking or overcooking, try boiling it without water using the method below:

Ingredients (for 4 people):

1 chicken (about 2 kg)
5 kaffir lime leaves
1 teaspoon of seasoning powder
1 tablespoon of salt

Prepare the chicken

First, remove all the feathers, then cut the chicken in half. Rub 1 tablespoon of salt thoroughly over the entire chicken, especially the head, neck, and anus, then wash it thoroughly and let it drain.

Boil the chicken

Place the chicken in a pot, then add 1 teaspoon of seasoning powder and rub it evenly. Next, add 5-6 washed kaffir lime leaves and 1 tablespoon of salt, then cover the pot. Turn the heat to low and cook for about 35-40 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked.
