Creamy Chicken Stuffed Puff Pastry

Ingredients
For the Filling

300 g cooked chicken breast, shredded

1 tbsp butter

2 cloves garlic, minced
-
1/2 small onion, finely chopped
-
2 tbsp cream cheese
-
3 tbsp heavy cream (or cooking cream)

2 tbsp grated mozzarella or Parmesan cheese
-
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
-
Salt & black pepper, to taste
For the Pastry
-
2 sheets puff pastry, thawed
-
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Optional Garlic Butter Topping
-
1 tbsp melted butter
-
1/2 tsp garlic powder
-
1 tsp chopped parsley
Instructions

1. Prepare the Creamy Chicken Filling
-
Melt butter in a pan over medium heat.

Add chopped onion and sauté until soft and translucent.
-
Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
-
Stir in shredded chicken, cream cheese, and heavy cream.
-
Mix until creamy and well combined.
-
Add grated cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper.
-
Cook for 1–2 minutes, then remove from heat and let cool slightly.
2. Prepare the Puff Pastry

Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F).

Roll out puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface.

Cut each sheet into equal rectangles or squares.
3. Assemble the Pastries

Place a spoonful of the chicken filling in the center of each pastry piece.

Fold the pastry over to form a pocket or triangle.
-
Press edges firmly with a fork to seal.
-
Place pastries on a lined baking tray.
4. Egg Wash & Bake
-
Brush the tops with beaten egg.
-
Optional: Mix melted butter with garlic powder and parsley, then brush lightly over pastries for extra flavor.

Bake for 20–25 minutes, until puffed and golden brown.
5. Serve

Let pastries cool for 5 minutes.

Garnish with extra chopped parsley if desired.

Serve warm with garlic sauce, ranch, or creamy dip on the side.
