Creamy Fruit Salad 

Ingredients (4–6 servings)

Fresh Fruits

  • 2 bananas, sliced

  • 1 cup strawberries, halved

  • 2 cups mandarin orange segments

  • 1 cup green grapes

  • 1 cup red grapes (optional)

  • 1 apple or pear, diced (optional)

  • 1 kiwi, chopped (optional)

Creamy Dressing

Choose one base or combine both:

Option A – Yogurt Dressing

  • 1 cup vanilla yogurt (or plain yogurt + 1–2 tbsp honey)

  • 2 tbsp condensed milk (optional)

Option B – Whipped Cream Dressing

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream

  • 2 tbsp sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Optional Add-ons

  • 2 tbsp shredded coconut

  • 2 tbsp chopped nuts (almonds, walnuts, pistachios)

  • 1 tbsp chia seeds

  • A squeeze of lemon juice


Instructions

1. Prepare the Fruits

  1. Wash and dry all fruits thoroughly.

  2. Slice bananas, strawberries, kiwi, and apples.

  3. Separate mandarin orange segments.

  4. Cut grapes in half if preferred.

  5. Sprinkle a little lemon juice on bananas and apples to prevent browning.


2. Make the Creamy Dressing

Yogurt Version

  1. In a bowl, mix yogurt with condensed milk until smooth.

  2. Adjust sweetness as needed.

Whipped Cream Version

  1. Beat heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla until soft peaks form.

  2. For extra stability, fold in 2 tbsp yogurt.


3. Combine the Salad

  1. Add all the prepared fruits into a large mixing bowl.

  2. Pour the creamy dressing over the fruits.

  3. Gently fold to coat evenly without crushing the fruit.

  4. Add shredded coconut, nuts, or chia seeds if desired.


4. Chill & Serve

  • Refrigerate for 30 minutes to enhance the flavor.

  • Serve cold for best taste and texture.


Tips

  • Use cold fruits for a fresher, crisp result.

  • Do not mix the salad too early if using bananas (add just before serving).

  • You can turn this into a dessert by adding mini marshmallows.
