Fatty Liver Disease: Warning Signs on Your Feet You Shouldn’t Ignore
Foot symptoms may reveal hidden liver issues before it’s too late.
Health experts are raising concerns as more cases of parasitic infections are being reported in recent months. According to doctors, many people unknowingly consume foods that are highly susceptible to contamination, allowing parasites to enter the body and quietly damage vital organs.
In a newly released advisory, medical specialists urge the public to stop eating four specific types of food, or at least handle them with extreme caution, due to the unusually high risk of parasite exposure.
Freshwater fish such as carp, tilapia, and catfish often carry liver flukes and other dangerous parasites. Eating raw fish dishes, including salads or lightly marinated preparations, can lead to infections that attack the liver, bile ducts, and digestive system.
Doctor’s advice: Always cook freshwater fish thoroughly. Avoid raw or partially cooked fish from unknown sources.
Snails, clams, and freshwater shellfish are extremely prone to lung flukes and intestinal parasites. Even soaking them in vinegar, alcohol, or saltwater does not eliminate the threat.
Risk: These parasites can cause chronic coughing, chest pain, digestive disorders, and severe fever.
Vegetables grown near contaminated water can harbor roundworm eggs, tapeworm segments, and protozoa. When eaten raw without proper washing, they can introduce parasites directly into the intestines.
Doctor’s advice: Wash vegetables thoroughly with salt water or a specialized produce cleanser.
Popular dishes such as rare beef salads, undercooked pork, or raw meat preparations can contain tapeworm larvae and other harmful organisms. Once inside the body, these parasites can grow to several meters long and cause severe digestive and
neurological complications.
Parasitic infections often develop silently, showing symptoms only when the condition becomes severe. Common warning signs include:
Unexplained abdominal pain
Allergic reactions or itchy skin
Chronic fatigue
Digestive issues and weight loss
Fever or persistent cough
Doctors emphasize that early prevention is the most effective protection.
To safeguard your family’s health, medical experts strongly recommend avoiding these four high-risk foods unless they are thoroughly cleaned and fully cooked. Proper hygiene, safe cooking practices, and regular health check-ups are essential to preventing parasitic infections.
