Just a few steps and the pot is like new
You can apply some of the tips below to make your yellowed, burnt pots clean as new, ensuring hygiene and increasing aesthetics.
Sometimes when cooking, it is difficult to avoid situations such as leaving the fire too high causing food to burn, or cooking while doing other work and forgetting to adjust the heat or turn off the stove causing a fire, or washing the pot while it is still hot,... From the above causes, it gradually leads to black, yellow stains on the pot and if not handled immediately, it will affect the quality of the dish and the health of the whole family.
By implementing some of the following methods, your yellowed, burnt stainless steel pots and pans will be clean as new.
We will show you ways to clean black, yellowed or rusted stainless steel pots with gentle methods that take little time and effort, and especially still keep the pot shiny and scratch-free. Let's try it!
Using Baking Soda
Baking Soda is a must-have in your kitchen because it has many uses in cleaning, cleaning things, especially cleaning stainless steel pots.
Mix Baking Soda with water into a thick mixture and then apply it to the stains, or apply it to the pot if you want to increase the brightness of the pot. Then rinse with clean water, the pots will have the stains gone and shine much brighter.
Using lemon
Lemon has long been used as a cleaning agent because of its strong acidity, and it is also convenient because almost every refrigerator will have at least 1 lemon. Cut the lemon into thin slices, rub all over the surface of the pot, pan, rub hard and many times on the stains, then use clean water to rinse. The lemon has removed the stains, your pots will be as good as new.
Using vinegar
Vinegar also has an unexpectedly good effect in making stainless steel pots and pans shine. Mix vinegar with vegetable oil and water in a ratio of 2:1:1, stir well and spray on the pot or pan, use a towel or cloth to rub and then wash clean.
Use coarse salt
Don't just wait until the pot is burnt black before you start to deal with it, because even if you pay close attention to cooking, after a long time of use, stainless steel kitchen utensils will no longer have the original shiny layer, but will start to show rust spots.
To fix this situation, you just need to add 2 - 3 tablespoons of coarse salt, stir it with water and then use a pot scrubber to clean it. Or pour hot water in, mix with coarse salt and soak for about 1 - 2 hours or overnight, your pot will be clean as new!
Use toothpaste
First, put a sufficient amount of toothpaste in the pan. Next, rub the toothpaste over the entire surface of the pan. Use a damp dishwashing sponge to scrub in a circular motion so that the toothpaste covers the entire surface of the pan.
Pour hot water into the pan and scrub with a sponge until the burnt marks come off. If you don’t have hot water, you can still use tap water, but hot water will work better and faster.
