The refrigerator has an important little button
With the small tips below when using the refrigerator, you can save quite a bit of electricity every month, smart people have applied it for a long time.
The refrigerator is an indispensable appliance in every modern family. The refrigerator helps preserve food fresh longer and makes people's lives much more convenient and easier. However, because the refrigerator is often plugged in both winter and summer 24/24 hours, it consumes a lot of electricity. But few people know that there is a small button on the refrigerator that if used properly will help you save a lot of electricity every month.

How to adjust the small button of the refrigerator?
In each refrigerator, there is a thermostat, which is the control panel that helps adjust the temperature in the refrigerator. Different refrigerators have different thermostats.
You can see that: some have 4 levels and some have 7 levels. To be effective and save electricity, you need to use the refrigerator reasonably, especially the temperature should be adjusted according to the season. Whether it is a 4-step or 7-step thermostat, its operating principle is the same. The Min or Off position is to turn off the machine. When the thermostat pointer stops at this position, the refrigerator will not have a cooling effect.
The larger the thermostat number, the lower the temperature of the refrigerator. If it is a 7-step thermostat, the pointer at the 5th to 7th position is strong cooling. In spring and autumn, the temperature will be lower. Just adjust the controller to the 3rd step. It will not stop or operate continuously, but the refrigerator will run according to the internal temperature.
– Adjust according to needs: If the food only needs to be kept fresh, adjust the thermostat to level 1 or 2. If the food needs to be cooled quickly, adjust the temperature to level 4 or 5.
– Adjust according to the indoor temperature: In the summer, the indoor temperature is very high, you can adjust the thermostat to level 2 to 4. The reason you do not need to adjust to a strong cold gear is because the refrigerator will operate continuously, when you set the temperature of the refrigerator too low, while the temperature around the refrigerator is too high, it will cause heat to be transferred into the refrigerator through the wall of the refrigerator, and the refrigerator will have to adjust itself to keep the temperature inside stable through the compressor.
In addition, to save electricity, remember the following:
– Avoid increasing the temperature around the refrigerator
Try to place the refrigerator in a shady place in the house and avoid direct sunlight. Do not place the refrigerator with devices such as sound systems, TVs, microwaves, etc. If these devices are too close to the refrigerator, the heat generated will increase the power consumption of the refrigerator.
- Create a convection space to store food
There should be a distance of about 10mm between foods. Do not put all the food in the refrigerator without leaving any space. Because the operating principle of the refrigerator is to prevent the evaporation of food moisture inside the refrigerator, if the space is full, there will be no space, the refrigerator will consume more electricity to prevent the evaporation of food moisture. The correct way is to arrange the space inside the refrigerator reasonably, leaving a certain space.
- Do not put hot food directly into the refrigerator
Many people often think that if food is not put in the refrigerator as soon as possible, it will spoil immediately. However, if you put food that has not been cooled in the refrigerator, the temperature inside the refrigerator will increase, the refrigerator will have to consume more electricity to maintain a low temperature.
- Reduce the number of times you open the door and shorten the opening time
Every time you open the refrigerator, the internal temperature must be restored and the compressor must work, so you need to minimize and shorten the time and frequency of opening the refrigerator door. Before opening the refrigerator, think about what you need to get and what you need to put in the refrigerator. That is the most energy-saving way.
