Mr. Siqueira won 26 million pounds (over 840 billion VND) in the lottery and became one of the 10 biggest lottery winners in Brazil, but suddenly passed away before he could enjoy it. The man won more than 15 billion in the lottery, 24 acquaintances took turns demanding debt but all received a mysterious text message: No one got a single penny. Winning nearly 200 billion VND in the lottery after having a tooth pulled. The woman just won 350 billion VND in the lottery, immediately sent a resignation letter to the company when she got home and "disappeared": How is life after 6 years?
Antonio Lopes Siqueira (73 years old), a cattle rancher in Matto Grosso state, Brazil, won the lottery jackpot with a prize of up to 26 million pounds on November 9, 2024. Four weeks later, he suddenly passed away, the police have not yet determined the cause.
On the morning of December 4, Siqueira was going to the dentist's office in Cuiaba city (Matto Grosso state) for a routine check-up when he suddenly had a heart attack. He then died suddenly in the waiting room.
Thinking that his life would change after winning a huge lottery prize, unexpectedly this man did not have time to enjoy the opportunity to enjoy the money that fell from the sky.
Police and forensic staff performed an autopsy. Authorities announced that they could not determine the cause of the victim's death. Autopsy results showed that the victim suffered severe cardiac and respiratory arrest, but the actual cause of this has not yet been found.
Siqueira won a prize worth 800 billion VND, but died before he could enjoy it.
The victim had a history of high blood pressure and diabetes. "We will have to conduct further tests to make a final conclusion," said Politec, a spokesman for the state's forensic health agency.
The purpose of further tests is to determine whether Mr. Siqueira died from pre-existing medical conditions or from shock due to his sudden change in life. Many conspiracy theories on social media suggest that the man's death may have had a more mysterious secret, such as being murdered to seize his property.
Antonio Lopes Siqueira is one of the 10 people who won the lottery jackpot with the highest prize in Brazilian history. He chose the numbers 13, 15, 33, 43, 46 and 55 and won despite the odds of only 1 in 50 million.
Yesser Dahrouge, a spokesman for the lottery, said Mr Siqueira regularly bought a ticket every week and had always joked that he would win one day. "It's sad to hear this news. Everyone dreams of making that much money in their lifetime. It's a pity that he didn't live to enjoy his prize," Dahrouge said.
On the same day, Dan Tri newspaper also published an article on the same topic with the title "The death of a man who won a lottery worth 841 billion VND before he could enjoy it"
Mr Antonio Lopes Siqueira, 73, a cattle breeder, had a routine dental appointment in the city of Cuiaba, Mato Grosso state, Brazil, on December 4.
However, the man suddenly suffered a heart attack and died on the spot. It is worth noting that just a few weeks before, Mr Antonio had become the lucky one when he won a jackpot of up to 26 million pounds (841 billion VND).

The death of a man who had not yet enjoyed his huge fortune has become a topic of particular interest to the Brazilian public. Whether the victim actually had a health problem or there were other causes that have not been announced.
According to local authorities, the autopsy results showed that the victim died of sudden cardiac arrest. Previously, the victim had a history of high blood pressure and diabetes.
"The cause of death has not been confirmed yet. We need to conduct more tests to make a final conclusion," said a spokesperson for the Department of Health in Cuiaba city.
The purpose of the tests is to verify that he died due to underlying medical conditions or shock from a sudden change in his life. There is no evidence that he was murdered to seize his property.
Meanwhile, an unnamed doctor at the local hospital said that "the shock after winning the jackpot weakened the victim's heart." That could have been one of the contributing factors to his death.
Antonio became one of the luckiest people in the history of the Brazilian lottery jackpot. He was one of the 10 people in the country to receive the biggest prize.
His sudden death remains a mystery as the cause has not been determined (Photo: Mail).
According to Mr. Yesser Dahrouge, a representative of the lottery company, Mr. Antonio was a regular customer of the company. He bought a lottery ticket every week. The customer was described as having a gentle and friendly attitude.
"He always joked that one day he would win a big prize. That finally happened, but unfortunately he did not have time to enjoy his huge fortune. We would like to send our condolences to his family," said the representative of the lottery company.
It is known that Mr. Antonio had previously chosen the numbers 13, 15, 33, 43, 46 and 55 with a jackpot winning rate of 1/50 million. With the winnings, the 73-year-old man planned to buy a new house but did not have time to do so.
"He was contemplating what to do with this huge sum of money. But it was a surprise," a family friend shared.
