Joshua Garcia shares sneak peek of upcoming movie ‘Un/happy For You’
Joshua Garcia is set to headline 'Un/happy For You' with Julia Barretto.
Kapamilya actor Joshua Garcia shared still photos from his upcoming film with Julia Barretto titled Un/happy For You.
In the photos that the actor posted on his Instagram page, Joshua and Julia can be seen hugging in one scene while they are both laughing in another scene.
Fans online were quick to react to the photos.
"I love you two so much ?❤️," one fan commented."You have great chemistry!" another fan wrote.
Film outfit Star Cinema also shared the behind-the-scenes of the shoot on social media.
"Get a taste of what’s Un/Happy For You behind the scenes. ?? Catch the comeback of Joshua Garcia and Julia Barreto in cinemas this August 14!" Star Cinema posted.
The movie recently had their filming in Naga.
Former Vice President Leni Robredo had the chance to visit the set of the film the past week.
On her Facebook page, the former Philippine executive posted: "Lunch with Julia in Naga. She invited me to visit the set after. Very pleasant surprise to know that a number of the members of the team volunteered during the campaign, including their director, Petersen Vargas. Fun on set. Met Joshua, Kaila, Ketchup, Noni Buencamino (his wife, Shamaine, is from Naga), and the rest of the artists and crew."
It was in April when Star Cinema announced that Joshua and Julia were teaming up again on the big screen in Un/happy For You.
In a past interview, Joshua shared that he immediately said yes when the film was offered to him.
"Nung nalaman ko 'yung project, sabi ko yes agad kasi ang tagal na rin kasi nung agwat nung panahon na nag-work kami before kasi mga teenager kami," he told ABS-CBN News.
He added that he was excited about the fact they would be working again, this time as more experienced actors.
"Ngayon, I can say nag-mature na rin kami, lumaki na kami, literal. Exciting lang, nagkanya-kanya kaming journey parang ngayon magbabalikan kami sa pelikula," he said.
At a recent media conference of the movie, Julia described working with Joshua again as "right timing."
"At some point, you know, when a good material comes along with a great team, it is such an exciting idea. It is already the right time. We are both in a good place in our lives. I am happy na magtatrabaho tayo ulit," the actress said.
She also highlighted that working with Joshua feels familiar and new.
"This feels familiar pero bago rin because parang when we're re-getting to know each other," she explained.
The actress shared that Un/happy For You will showcase a story about pain and healing.
"I didn't expect it to be super far from probably what we had all experienced in lives, not just him and I, siyempre but it's a very general feeling that everyone goes through," Julia said.
She added: "There are some things that still linger so it would be a painful and hopefully a healing movie for a lot of people."
