96-Year-Old Woman Divorced by Husband Over Adultery

A 96-year-old woman was divorced by her 99-year-old husband after he discovered passionate love letters hidden in her drawer.

Antonio C., a 99-year-old man living in Rome, Italy, decided to end his 77-year marriage to Rosa C., aged 96. The reason? Her infidelity.

 

 

Just before Christmas, Antonio found a collection of passionate love letters tucked away in his wife’s drawer. The stash of letters dated back over 50 years, revealing a long-hidden affair. To Antonio’s dismay, he discovered that Rosa’s secret relationship had begun more than a decade after they got married.

Despite over half a century passing since the affair, and the couple having five children and dozens of grandchildren, Antonio could not forgive the betrayal. He immediately demanded a divorce and promptly filed the paperwork with the court.

Antonio first met Rosa in 1930 when he was a young officer. Their love story, once spanning decades, ended in heartbreak and a shocking separation at an advanced age.
