Many people do not know this way
Balloons are not only a favorite toy for children or a decoration for events and parties, but also have many useful effects in daily life if you know how to take advantage of them. Even just placing a balloon in the bathroom can bring you unexpected benefits.
2 effects of placing a balloon in the bathroom
Deodorizing the drain
Even if you clean regularly, everyone's toilet sometimes has problems with the smell from the drain, especially in the summer or when the seasons change. This smell becomes more unpleasant and sometimes insects fly out of the drain.
To overcome this situation, you can take advantage of a balloon. Fill the balloon with water, tie it and place it on the drain when not using the toilet. This method will help cover the drain, reducing the smell. However, this method will not be convenient when you need to use the toilet.
In addition to the above method, you can also use scissors to cut a little bit of the top of the balloon (don't cut it too big because the balloon is elastic). Then, lift the floor drain cover and insert the balloon so that it covers the drain cover.
Cut a part of the balloon's blow hole and you have a simple drain cover tool. When water flows through, the mouth of the balloon will open so that water can drain down. When the water stops flowing, the balloon will stick to itself, preventing odors and insects from flying up from the drain. You should replace the balloon 1-2 times a month.
Deodorize the toilet
The toilet is a place where bacteria easily accumulate and give off an unpleasant odor. To effectively deodorize, you can pour toilet cleaner or perfume into the balloon, add a little water and tie the balloon tightly. Use a needle or a small toothpick to poke 1-2 small holes in the balloon and place it in the toilet's water tank. When you press the flush button, the scented water will mix with the water in the tank, effectively eliminating odors.
In addition to this method, you can also replace the balloon with a tube of toothpaste with holes, a toilet deodorizer tablet, or a bar of soap and drop it into the water tank as a replacement.
