Cheesy Beef Burrito with Creamy Sauce
This burrito is packed with juicy seasoned beef, melted cheese, and finished with a rich, creamy cheese sauce. It’s comforting, flavorful, and perfect for a quick lunch or dinner.
Ingredients
For the Beef Filling:

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

A handful of spinach or lettuce (optional)
For the Creamy Cheese Sauce:

2 tablespoons butter

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

1 cup milk

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste
For Assembly:

4 large flour tortillas

Extra cheddar cheese (optional)
Instructions

1. Prepare the Beef Filling

Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.

Add onions and garlic; sauté until fragrant.

Add ground beef and cook until browned.

Add paprika, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.

Stir well and cook for another 3–4 minutes.

Add shredded cheddar to the hot beef mixture and let it melt.

Add spinach/lettuce (optional) and mix.
2. Make the Creamy Cheese Sauce

Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.

Add flour and whisk to form a smooth paste (roux).

Slowly pour in the milk while whisking continuously.

Once thickened, add shredded cheddar cheese.

Add paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

3. Assemble the Burritos

Warm the tortillas in a pan for a few seconds.
