Steak Alfredo Pasta Recipe

A rich and comforting pasta dish featuring creamy Alfredo sauce and perfectly seared steak. This meal brings together tender beef, velvety sauce, and al dente pasta for a restaurant-style experience at home.


Ingredients

For the Steak:

  • 1–2 ribeye or sirloin steaks

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • Salt and black pepper

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 1 garlic clove (optional)

For the Alfredo Pasta:

  • 250g rotini or fettuccine pasta

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • Salt and black pepper

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

1. Cook the Pasta

  1. Boil pasta in salted water until al dente (about 8–10 minutes).

  2. Drain and set aside.


2. Cook the Steak

  1. Season steak generously with salt and pepper.

  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.

  3. Sear steak for 3–4 minutes per side (medium doneness).

  4. Add butter and garlic, baste the steak for flavor.

  5. Remove from the pan and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.


3. Make the Alfredo Sauce

  1. In the same pan, melt butter over low-medium heat.

  2. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.

  3. Pour in heavy cream and stir gently.

  4. Add Parmesan cheese and mix until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.

  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  6. Add the cooked pasta and toss to coat evenly.


4. Assemble the Dish

  1. Plate the Alfredo pasta.

  2. Slice the steak and arrange it on top.

  3. Drizzle extra Alfredo sauce over the steak.

  4. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and a sprinkle of black pepper.
