Scene of the plane crash that killed everyone on board and injured many people on the ground in Brazil

 

A plane crash in Brazil on December 22 killed 10 people on board and injured many others.

According to information from the Brazilian Civil Defense Agency, on December 22, a small plane crashed into a popular shopping area in Gramado, Brazil.

The plane was flying from Canela, near Gramado, and was scheduled to go to Jundiai, São Paulo state, but crashed after only 3 km.

All 10 people on board were killed and more than a dozen others on the ground were injured. The injured were immediately taken to hospital due to serious injuries to their bodies as well as smoke inhalation. Two of them are in critical condition.

Local media reported that the plane was piloted by Luiz Claudio Galeazzi, a 61-year-old Brazilian businessman who was traveling with his family to São Paulo. In addition to the businessman, those on board at the time included his wife, three daughters, relatives and another company employee. All died in the crash.

The cause of the incident is currently under investigation.
