After cooking, don’t rush to wash the pan with cold water. Wait about 3–5 minutes for the pan to naturally cool to room temperature before cleaning.
Another tip: once the pan has cooled, avoid using steel wool to scrub it. Instead, use a soft cloth or gentle cleaning tools to better protect the pan’s surface.
