2. Sleep Disturbances Accompanied by Persistent Headaches
Insomnia can sometimes result from stress or stimulant use. However, if sleep problems persist and are accompanied by headaches, nausea, fatigue, and lethargy, this could be an early warning sign of stroke. Chronic sleep disruption weakens the body and may increase the likelihood of a stroke occurring.
3. Severe Nighttime Headache and Nausea
A sudden, intense headache combined with nausea before bedtime should never be ignored. One possible cause is that the blood becomes thicker and more prone to clot formation, leading to blockage of blood vessels in the brain. This is one of the classic warning signs of an impending stroke, especially when it appears while the body is at rest.

4. Numbness or Weakness on One Side of the Body
If an arm or leg suddenly becomes numb, heavy, or difficult to move—particularly if it affects only one side of the body—it may be a warning sign of stroke. Muscle weakness and reduced sensation are often accompanied by other symptoms such as slurred speech, facial drooping, or blurred vision.
Important Note
In addition to the four signs listed above, sudden blurred vision, difficulty speaking, or trouble pronouncing words clearly are also dangerous warning signals. If any of these symptoms occur—especially at night—seek immediate medical attention to prevent serious consequences.
