Effectively kill mice using ingredients already available in the house
Mix the rice with this, then place it in the corner of the house to sweep out all the mice 'gone without returning
Mice are unpleasant creatures that cause many troubles in daily life. They destroy furniture and food in the house. Additionally, they also carry harmful diseases that pose a risk to human health.
Typically, when mice appear in the house, people use mouse traps, sticky traps, or rodent poison. However, mouse traps do not always work effectively (for example, sticky traps usually only catch small mice), and rodent poison can pose a risk of poisoning if pets or children accidentally consume it.
To eliminate mice effectively and safely, you can use simple materials that are readily available at home.
You need to prepare a small handful of rice, a little cement, one tablespoon of sesame oil (or peanut oil), and a small bowl to mix the ingredients.
First, toast the rice in a pan until it smells fragrant and turns yellow.
Put the rice in the bowl, add one tablespoon of sesame oil, and mix well. Then, add one tablespoon of cement and stir until the mixture is uniform.
Divide the mixture into several parts and place them in areas where mice frequently pass, such as in the kitchen, gaps in cupboards, or under the bed. The aroma of toasted rice and sesame oil will attract mice to eat it. After eating, they will feel thirsty and need to find water. When the cement comes into contact with water, it will solidify and block the mouse’s digestive system. This will cause acute constipation, leading to bleeding and death.
Other ways to repel mice:
Using vinegar: Take a few cotton balls and soak them in vinegar. Place the cotton balls in places where mice often pass, such as under the sink, in corners of the kitchen, and in small holes that mice may gnaw or burrow through. Mice will avoid the area because of the sour smell of vinegar. When the cotton ball dries and loses its vinegar smell, replace it with a fresh one to maintain its effectiveness.
Using potatoes: Mash boiled potatoes and mix them with cocoa powder or vanilla to create a pleasant scent. Place the mixture in small dishes around areas where mice frequent. Place a bowl of water nearby to tempt the mice to drink after eating. Mice will feel thirsty after eating the potatoes and come for water. After drinking, their stomachs will expand beyond the digestive system’s capacity, damaging their internal organs and making it difficult for them to survive. The more potatoes they eat, the faster they will die.
Using soap: Mix soap with cold rice and spices, then place it in areas where mice usually go. Mice do not like the smell of this mixture and will flee.
Some tips to prevent mice from entering your house:
Block the mouse’s entryways: You should seal all the holes in the walls inside the house. After a few days, seal the surrounding walls of the house as well. If you seal off one area, the mice may get trapped inside the house and gnaw and destroy more items as they try to escape.
Keep your home clean and store food properly so that mice cannot attack your house.
Trash bins should have tight-fitting lids to prevent attracting mice.
