  5. Turn heat back on low and simmer until thickened.

  6. Add soy sauce for extra flavor (optional).

2. Prepare the Fried Rice

  1. Melt butter in a pan.

  2. Sauté onion and mixed vegetables.

  3. Add cooked rice and mix well.

  4. Add ketchup, salt, and pepper.

  1. Season shrimp with salt and pepper.

  2. Coat shrimp in flour → egg → panko.

  3. Deep fry until golden and crispy.

  4. Drain on paper towels.

4. Make the Omelette

  1. Whisk eggs with milk and a pinch of salt.

  2. Heat butter in a non-stick pan over medium heat.

  3. Pour in egg mixture and swirl gently.

  4. When half-cooked and still creamy in the center, slide it onto the rice mound.
(Keep it soft and fluffy for that perfect omurice texture.)

5. Make the Tartar Sauce

Mix mayonnaise, pickles, onion, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.

6. Assemble the Dish

  1. Pour Japanese curry around the rice and omelette.

  2. Place crispy shrimp on top of the omelette.
