1. Chicken with Unnatural Color

If the meat appears unusually pale, grayish, or has greenish spots, it is a sign of poor preservation or chemical treatment. Consuming such chicken can lead to food poisoning and other health risks.

2. Chicken with an Odd Smell

Fresh chicken should have a mild scent. Any strong sour, ammonia-like, or rotten odor indicates spoilage. Even at a discount, this type of meat is dangerous and should not be eaten.

3. Chicken with Excessive Water or Slimy Texture

Some sellers inject water or chemicals to increase weight, making the chicken look plump and fresh. However, this practice compromises both safety and taste. Slimy or sticky meat is also a red flag.
