The doctor advised to remove the breathing tube, but 4 months later the woman came back to life, surprising everyone

In September 2018, Kertisha Brabson, a 31-year-old mother of two from Ohio, USA, suddenly experienced seizures and fell into a coma. Prior to this, she had been in good health.

Her mother, Kertease Williams, had noticed unusual behavior, such as searching for nonexistent items and dancing without reason.

Medical examinations revealed that Kertisha was suffering from anti-NMDA receptor encephalitis, an autoimmune condition where the body's immune system attacks the brain's receptors.

As her condition worsened, she entered a deep coma, leading doctors to believe she was in a vegetative state with minimal chances of recovery.

They advised the family to consider withdrawing life support.

However, Kertease refused to give up hope, stating, "If your child is in such a situation, you wouldn't give up either." Kertisha was transferred to the Wexner Medical Center at Ohio State University in Columbus. Remarkably, four months later, on April 7, 2019, she regained consciousness, astonishing both medical staff and her family. Dr. Shraddha Mainali, one of her primary physicians, expressed her amazement at Kertisha's unexpected recovery.
