You've Seen This Cloth on Hotel Beds—But Do You Know What It's For?
Why Is There Always a Strip of Fabric at the Foot of a Hotel Bed? Here's the Answer
Tomatoes spoil very easily, and when they go bad, people often throw them away. However, in reality, don't be quick to discard rotten tomatoes—they are still very useful!

Used as Flower Fertilizer
Cut the tomatoes into small pieces, place them in a container, and add a bit of rice water to soak them. Then, cover it tightly with plastic wrap and let it ferment. After a few days, it will turn into organic fertilizer. The rice water contains trace elements, and fermenting it with tomatoes will make your flowers grow better than using store-bought fertilizer! The flowers that bloom afterward will be relatively fresh and beautiful.
Shampoo
If you have rotten tomatoes at home, you can cut off the spoiled parts, then rub the tomato onto your hair. It not only helps protect the hair but also stimulates hair growth. When using it, wash and dry your hair first, then mash the tomato and evenly apply it to your hair. Gently massage your scalp to allow the nutrients to soak in. After 15 minutes, wash your hair with water, then use a wooden or horn comb to smooth the hair. The beneficial nutrients in tomatoes have great healing effects, preventing hair from becoming dry and making it shiny and smooth.
Eliminate Refrigerator Odor
Nowadays, everyone has a refrigerator, and after prolonged use, it tends to develop a distinct smell. We can crush the tomatoes (removing the spoiled parts) to make juice, dip a cloth into the juice, and wipe down the refrigerator. It will not only clean the stains but also leave a fresh tomato scent in the fridge, making it smell clean.
Clean Metal Items
The acetic acid in rotten tomatoes reacts with metals and can be used to clean metal items such as knives, forks, and faucets in the bathroom. Apply the rotten tomato to the item you want to clean and leave it for about 10 minutes, then wipe it with paper towels, rinse it with water, and dry it with a clean cloth.
Did you realize that even though rotten tomatoes are no longer edible, they still have many other uses? Life is full of little joys everywhere; as long as we pay attention, we can find many small tricks!
