Healthy Balanced Plate 

Ingredients

  • 1 medium sweet potato

  • 1 small corn on the cob

  • 1 cup broccoli florets

  • 6–8 medium shrimp, peeled & deveined

  • 1–2 boiled eggs

  • A handful of fresh blueberries

  • Salt (optional)


Instructions

1. Cook the sweet potato

  1. Wash the sweet potato thoroughly.

  2. Steam or boil for 20–25 minutes until soft.

  3. Slice into thick rounds.

2. Cook the corn

  1. Boil or steam the corn for 10–12 minutes until bright yellow and tender.

  2. Remove and let cool slightly.

3. Cook the broccoli

  1. Bring a small pot of water to a boil.

  2. Add broccoli and blanch for 1–2 minutes.

  3. Rinse under cold water to keep the color bright and crisp.

4. Cook the shrimp

  1. Bring water to a boil with a pinch of salt.

  2. Add shrimp and cook 2–3 minutes until pink and firm.

  3. Drain immediately.

5. Prepare the eggs

  1. Boil eggs for 8–10 minutes depending on how firm you like the yolk.

  2. Peel and slice in half.

6. Assemble the plate

  1. Arrange sweet potato slices on one side.

  2. Add the corn segment.

  3. Place the broccoli and shrimp together.

  4. Add the boiled eggs.

  5. Garnish with fresh blueberries for natural sweetness and antioxidants.

7. Serve

  • Enjoy warm or at room temperature as a clean, balanced meal.
