Ingredients:
For the beef patties
500 g (1.1 lb) ground beef (80/20 preferred)
1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
1 tablespoon oil (for the pan/grill), if needed
For the shrimp topping
300 g (10 oz) shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tablespoon butter (or oil)
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning or Old Bay (optional but fits this style)
1 tablespoon lemon juice
For the bacon and cheese
8 slices bacon
4 slices cheddar (or provolone/your melting cheese of choice)
For assembly
4 brioche burger buns (or soft buns), toasted
Lettuce leaves
Optional: sautéed onions (the photo appears to include some onions in the shrimp mix)
Optional spicy mayo (great with shrimp burgers)
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1–2 teaspoons sriracha or hot sauce
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice

Instructions:
Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crisp, then drain on paper towels.
Make the shrimp topping
2) Pat shrimp dry, season with Cajun/Old Bay (optional), salt, and pepper.
3) Heat butter in a skillet over medium-high heat, add garlic for ~30 seconds, then cook shrimp 1–2 minutes per side until pink and just cooked through; finish with lemon juice.
Cook the beef patties and melt cheese
4) Form 4 patties (slightly wider than the buns) and season with salt and pepper.
5) Pan-sear or grill over medium-high heat until done to your preference, then add a slice of cheese to each patty and cover briefly to melt.
6) Toast buns, add lettuce to the bottom bun, place the cheesy beef patty on top, then add crispy bacon.
7) Spoon the garlicky shrimp over the bacon, add spicy mayo if using, and close with the top bun.
