This dish features tender fettuccine pasta tossed in a rich, creamy Alfredo sauce, combined with juicy sautéed shrimp and fresh broccoli florets. The sauce is smooth, garlicky, and cheesy, coating every strand of pasta for a comforting, restaurant-style meal.

250 g fettuccine pasta

250 g shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 cups broccoli florets

3 tablespoons butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

Salt, to taste

Black pepper, to taste

Red pepper flakes (optional)
Alfredo Sauce

240 ml heavy cream
-
60 ml milk (optional, to adjust thickness)

80 g grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
Instructions

Step 1: Cook the Pasta & Broccoli

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

Cook fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente.

In the last 2 minutes, add broccoli florets to the same pot.

Drain pasta and broccoli together. Reserve ½ cup pasta water.
Step 2: Cook the Shrimp

Season shrimp lightly with salt and black pepper.

Heat 1 tablespoon butter in a large pan over medium-high heat.

Add shrimp and cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink and opaque.

Remove shrimp from the pan and set aside.
Step 3: Make the Alfredo Sauce

In the same pan, add remaining butter.

Add garlic and sauté for 20–30 seconds until fragrant.

Pour in heavy cream and milk (if using).

Simmer gently over medium-low heat for 3–4 minutes.

Stir in Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and nutmeg.

Cook until sauce thickens and becomes smooth.
Step 4: Combine Everything

Add cooked pasta and broccoli to the sauce.

Toss gently to coat evenly.

Add shrimp back into the pan.

Loosen sauce with reserved pasta water if needed.

Taste and adjust seasoning.
