Ingredients (Serves 3–4)

Main Ingredients

  • 2 whole lobsters (about 600–700 g each), cooked and cracked

    • or 800 g cooked lobster meat (claws & tails)

  • 120 g unsalted butter

  • 5–6 cloves garlic, finely minced

  • 1 small onion or shallot, thinly sliced

  • 120 ml seafood stock or chicken stock

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)

  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Optional Flavor Enhancers

  • 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)

  • 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning (optional)

Garnish

  • Fresh parsley, finely chopped

  • Lemon wedges (optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Lobster

  1. If using whole lobsters, cook them first by boiling in salted water for 8–10 minutes until just done.

  2. Let cool slightly, then crack the shells and remove the meat, keeping claws and tail pieces intact.

  3. Arrange the lobster meat evenly in a baking dish.

Step 2: Make the Garlic Butter Sauce

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter gently.

  2. Add minced garlic and sliced onion/shallot.

  3. Sauté for 2–3 minutes until fragrant and softened (do not brown).

  4. Add paprika, salt, pepper, and optional chili flakes or Old Bay.

  5. Pour in seafood stock and lemon juice.

  6. Simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly reduced.

Step 3: Assemble

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).

  2. Pour the hot garlic butter sauce evenly over the lobster in the baking dish.

  3. Spoon some sauce over the meat to ensure even coating.

Step 4: Bake

  1. Cover the baking dish loosely with foil.

  2. Bake for 12–15 minutes, just until the lobster is heated through and infused with flavor.

  3. Remove foil for the last 3 minutes if you want a slightly caramelized finish.

Step 5: Finish & Serve

  1. Remove from oven and sprinkle generously with fresh parsley.

  2. Serve immediately with extra sauce spooned over the lobster.

  3. Add lemon wedges on the side if desired.
